Diligently protecting your investment for the last 80+ years
We started Sierra Wildfire Home Defense Co. with a simple mission. Help homeowners in the Sierra protect what matters most before wildfire season comes knocking.
Our team lives here. We hike these mountains, breathe this air, and watch every summer get drier and more unpredictable. Wildfire is part of life in our region, but losing homes doesn’t have to be.
We combine real wildfire science, years of field experience, and a service mindset that puts your safety first. Everything we offer is designed to make your home stronger, safer, and far more resilient against fire conditions.
Building Homes, Protecting Futures
Dave Provenzano
With nearly 50 years of construction experience, Dave Provenzano has spent decades building and protecting homes across California and Nevada, especially the Reno-Tahoe area he knows inside and out. Dave started in construction in 1978 and became a licensed California contractor in 1980. Today he runs a Nevada-based building and development company, covering everything from remodels to full builds. He understands homes from the foundation up, and that expertise drives everything he does. After seeing the impact of the Aurora, Calder, and Palisades fires, Dave became committed to a more proactive approach to home protection. His mission is simple: help families safeguard their homes before wildfire season ever hits. At Sierra Wildfire Home Defense, Dave blends his lifetime of building knowledge with a passion for resilience and safety, giving homeowners a sense of confidence and calm in a changing landscape.
Guiding Homeowners with 50 Years of Sierra Know-How
Tim Lambdin
Tim Lambdin has been in real estate for nearly 50 years, working through every kind of market Nevada and California have seen. Licensed since 1975 and a Nevada Broker–Salesman since 1988, he’s built a career on experience, honesty, and strong local relationships. After decades in land development, home construction, and residential sales, Tim has seen firsthand how vulnerable many homes in the Sierra and high desert can be to wildfire. His passion for wildfire protection comes from years of watching communities rebuild and wanting to help homeowners take a smarter, more resilient approach from the start. Tim and his wife, Emily, have called Spanish Springs home for many years. Married for over four decades, they’ve raised their family in Northern Nevada and now enjoy time with their grandkids. When he’s not helping clients, Tim’s likely outdoors, skiing, golfing, camping, or on the trails somewhere.
